Horrible

Horrible! I paid out almost $90.00 and a tip for 5 minutes of work, outrageous. The tasker said it was $38.00/hour but needed to charge me $60.00 for the job of removing a glass table top so had to input 1.75 hours to make $66.00 and change for this job. You can imagine my surprise when I received an invoice for over $90.00 with a $10 promo, their extra service "fee" was over $25.00 with a ridiculous explanation of the reason of this extra fee. I feel scammed and I would not use this service again.

They tack on 30%

I got a good worked through task rabbit at what appeared to be a reasonable price. When they charged me they added a 30% commission. When you ask about their so-called "trust and support fee" they do not tell you what percentage it is. 30% is criminal. Avoid them, or be aware that they are deceptive.

Very unprofessional and unreliable…

Very unprofessional and unreliable app!! I hired 2 movers and they both cancelled...One a few hrs after booking and the other 10 min before arrival time...Luckily I got help later but if I would have relied on them I wouldve been in a messed up situation! They should not have time slots available for jobs they cant commit to!

Burn in h@ll

The tasker is good but as a company in a whole s@#ks how dare you tell me there is a one time charge of 19dollars ok fine but you failed to say is 19 times per hour piece of s@$t please understand im disabled and on a budget then i have to pay the tasker his rate then i have to pay someone thats not even there at 20 dollars per hour They say its a pledge F@#K your pledge here is my pledge dont use this company look for handyman in your area and try to avoid business them like the virus they do not care its the money

Helpful and easy to work with, reasonable prices!

I was able to get taskers to help me move, and they were reasonably priced and very strong and easy to work with. Because I had a small task not everyone was willing to accept it but eventually I found great taskers.

Irresponsible

I set for a mover. After the pricing and unexplained fees were set up, an hour later I was told that the mover would not be able to perform the job. No other reason or excuse was given. Instead of this company holding the next available mover with the same pricing, this employer charges more money and a higher tax. No apologies was given nor were there any accommodations. This is not good business etiquette and this company should not have to be made known in order to accommodate their client/potential clientele.

I wish there were a zero Start on this…

I wish there were a zero Start on this review. We were scheduled and confirmed for the job to be done. However, the guy named Amidu J who took the job to mount our TV, No showed up and no cancellation notices. After few follow up request on our end, they told us that the guy couldn’t do it. This is after we waited two hours wasting our previous time. What a disgusting and unprofessional?? Bad communication and poor service. No trust with this guy.

The task rabbit abandoned the job

The task rabbit left in the middle of the job. I think there was some anxiety or something happening, but I can't recommend because the job was simple and explained well ahead of time, but then abandoned less than half way through.

Moving

I had a great experience with my task rabbit - he made moving super smooth and knew what he was doing. I was able to move all my bedroom furniture, boxes and a couch in 2.5 hours with his help. Totally worth the $.

Great idea, needs better execution

The idea is great (finding local talent/labor to perform local work in person), but the execution needs improvement.

The communication system is clunky and outdated. There is no ability to communicate with a Tasker effectively prior to offering a gig or engaging with more than one simultaneously in order to compare. I understand there are security concerns, but the system is clunky.

The fees are outrageously high. I understand the fees provide additional services, but it is not clear enough their benefit to warrant such high fees.

My Tasker was wonderful, but the fees increased the price by 40%.

I would say no. They are sketchy at best in my experience.

Why is it that none of the taskers I pick respond? I've gone through 3 of them for the same job and still no one will confirm or answer my pm?

Mine responded and loved to chat. At the end, he cancelled the appointment. What a waste of time. Very disappointing.

So I see some poor reviews about this service. Most of the reviews seem to be upset at the actual work that was done, but what do you think?

Terribl company. Weak customer service, have spent hours and still no resolution for a problem that is all their responsibility.
